What is Monday BBQ?
Monday BBQ is one of AYC's flagship Connection & Recreation programs. It's a free, drop-in community gathering held every Monday where African youth and their families can come together in a safe, culturally affirming environment.
We believe that sharing a meal is one of the most powerful ways to build trust, reduce isolation, and strengthen community bonds. Monday BBQ is more than just food — it's a weekly reminder that you belong here.

After the BBQ
Stay on for Family Games Night from 5:00 pm — chess, table tennis, dominoes, tug of war, and more. A B-MAD wellbeing program running right after the BBQ at the same venue.
